Why Transfer?
As a family-run fostering organisation, we know foster carers who feel well supported, stay with their agency. But, if you are feeling undervalued and not supported, you may be considering transferring to another fostering service. At FosteringMatters we value our carers and ensure you are supported and rewarded in your crucial role in helping children and young people. We fully support the right of foster carers to transfer, and the process of transferring is simple and includes helping to transfer the children currently in your care with you. Throughout your transfer to us we will be with you step by step to ensure everything runs smoothly. Within your transfer we will ensure your carer fees are at least equal to your existing monies and additionally pay you a disruption allowance.
